Explore Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park, on a 3-day safari combining spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Visit the mighty Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, before enjoying a scenic Nile River cruise with opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife. Experience game drives across the savannah in search of elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes and other wildlife. The safari also includes a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Visit the Top of the falls
ENTEBBE / KAMPALA - MURCHISON
Depart from Kampala at 09:00 and travel northwards towards Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying scenic views of Uganda’s countryside, farmlands, villages and local communities, with lunch en route
Once you arrive at the Park, proceed to visit the Top of Murchison Falls viewpoint, where you will witness the mighty Nile River forcing its way through a narrow gorge before plunging downstream with tremendous power.
After visiting the falls, continue to Murchison Falls Bamboo Village, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as warthogs and baboons along the way. Arrive at the lodge at approximately 18:00. Check in, relax and enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Day 2
Boat cruise and Evening Game drive
Enjoy an early breakfast and at 08:00, proceed to the docking point and embark on the Nile River cruise at 08:30. Cruise along the calm waters of the Nile while observing hippos, crocodiles, birds and other wildlife along the riverbanks. You can alsoe withness the Nile plung its waters from below. A very beautifuk sight.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
In the afternoon, set out on a game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, exploring the savannah in search of lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, antelopes and other wildlife.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Morning Game and Ziwa Rhino Tracking
MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early today and at 06:30 set out for a morning wildlife experience, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the savannah as the day begins. Keep watch for wildlife such as elephants, antelopes, lions and other animals becoming active in the morning.
Return to the lodge for a short rest and for lunch before departing for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
At approximately 14:00, enjoy a guided nature walk in the sanctuary in search of white rhinos in their natural environment. The sanctuary is also an important area for birdwatching, with numerous bird species found within the reserve.
After the rhino experience, begin the journey back to Kampala. Arrive in Kampala between approximately 19:30 and 20:30, marking the end of your Murchison Falls safari.
