Toturk Safaris is a registered tour operator in Uganda, operating under license number UTB/RTT/TT/2024/101260.
We specialize in private, tailor-made tours, with a focus on midrange safaris that offer the ideal balance of comfort and value. Budget-friendly and high-end luxury options are also available on request.

History
Toturk Safaris was founded in 2020 by three friends who had a profound desire to show the world how incredible Uganda is. What began as a small project to help friends and family explore the country quickly grew into something more. So, they teamed up, combining their unique backgrounds to create Toturk Safaris, a company built on friendship and love for nature. Today, Toturk Safaris has grown into a fully licensed, trusted tour operator offering private, tailor-made safaris across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. We still carry that same passion we started with, only now, we are using every tool and connection we have to welcome travelers from all continents and walks of life.

Our Team
We are a passionate and professional team of 10, consisting of 4 permanent driver-guides and 6 dedicated administrative staff.
Among our administrative team are one fluent German-speaking Ugandan guide, one fluent Chinese-speaking guide, and one fluent French-speaking guide, all of whom support both office operations and guiding services when needed.
Our handpicked driver guides are licensed professionals trained to meet national and international guiding standards.
All our guides speak fluent English
Most importantly, our guides are passionate storytellers and skilled hosts. Whether you're spotting lions in the savannah or learning about traditional ways of life in a local village, they will make each moment meaningful.
When needed, we also collaborate with a trusted network of freelance guides, allowing us to serve multiple small groups or special requests without compromising on quality or professionalism.
Behind the scenes, our dedicated administrative team works closely with the guides and external service providers to ensure every part of your journey runs smoothly. From building your itinerary to booking lodges and coordinating activities plus managing daily logistics, they are always a step ahead, making sure you are comfortable, cared for, and free to enjoy every moment of your safari.
