Arrival in Uganda and City Tour

ENTEBBE -  KAMPALA

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Toturk Safaris. After a short briefing, you will proceed for lunch.

 

After lunch, enjoy a guided 3-hour city tour of Kampala, with highlights including the Buganda Kingdom, the Bahá’í Temple, and the Kasubi Tombs. Later, check in at your hotel for some relaxation, and then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Rhino Trekking and Top of the falls

KAMPALA- ZIWA- MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting off for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a memorable rhino trekking experience. Ziwa is the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos roam freely in their natural habitat, as part of a successful reintroduction program aimed at restoring the rhino population in Uganda

​

After the trek, enjoy lunch before continuing your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the Top of the Falls and marvel at the sight of the Nile squeezing through an 8-meter-wide gorge before plunging 45 meters below, creating the dramatic thunderous Murchison Falls.

 

Afterwards, head to your lodge to unwind and enjoy dinner, preparing for the thrilling experiences that await.

Day 3

Game drive and Boat cruise

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Start with an early morning game drive, spotting elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, antelopes, and Jackson’s hartebeest. Pause mid-drive to enjoy a packed breakfast in the wild, then continue the safari before returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the legendary Nile River, where you will witness the dramatic Murchison Falls cascading into the Nile. Along the way, observe hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and other animals like elephants, Uganda Kobs, and lions that come to drink.

Day 4

Chimpanzee Trek and Evening Game drive

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, set out on your chimpanzee trek in Budongo Forest in search of these fascinating primates. Once you locate them, you will be allowed one hour in their presence. Observe these majestic beings, whose DNA is 98% similar to humans, engage in remarkably humanlike interactions. After the trek, return to your accommodation for lunch.

​

In the late afternoon, head out for an evening game drive and look out for any animals you may have missed during the boat cruise or the morning game drive.

Day 5

Departure

After a breakfast and a lazy morning, transfer to the airport, stopping for lunch along the way before continuing to your onward connections.
