Arrival day and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
ENTEBBE -BWINDI
Karibu! A very warm welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by a friendly representative of Toturk Safaris. You will have a safari briefing and time for any questions regarding your adventure.
As you embark on your 8-10hr journey to Bwindi, soak in the breathtaking views of Lake Victoria along the way. Your adventure kicks off with a stopover at the equator crossing experiment site at Kayabwe, where you can participate in fun experiments showcasing the Earth's hemispheres. Look out for the famous long-horned cows, known for their distinctive appearance, grazing peacefully in the rolling hills of Uganda and some wildlife sightings like monkeys along the way.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking
BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early and have breakfast and then proceed to the information center for a briefing about the do's and don’ts of Gorilla trekking. During the Trek, look out for other primate species like the black and white colobus and the rare L'Hoests' monkeys, blue monkeys, red tailed monkeys, baboons and some chimpanzees. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation for some rest.
In the evening, visit with the local Batwa tribe, Uganda’s ancient hunter-gatherer tribe experience their rich culture.

After breakfast, head over to Entebbe for your departure while enjoying the breath-taking views of Kabale district.
