Day 1

Arrival in Uganda

ENTEBBE-KAMPALA

 

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a representative of Toturk Safaris will warmly greet you. Transfer to your accommodations in Kampala. Have a safari briefing and time for last-minute questions regarding your adventure. Spend the evening at leisure exploring Kampala or relaxing at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Kampala.

Day 2

Travel to Murchison Falls National Park enroute Ziwa Rhino Trekking

KAMPALA -MURCHISON

 

After breakfast, go to Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive with picturesque views along the way. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the rhino trekking experience. After, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and upon reaching, visit the top of the falls. Known as the most powerful waterfall in the entire world expect to be mind blown by the power and beauty of these amazing falls. Check-into your accommodation to rest and relax.

Day 3

Explore Murchison Falls

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

 

This day will be spent exploring Murchison falls. Wake early and go for a savannah morning game drive, spotting elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, giraffes, and antelopes, Jackson hartebeest. Have breakfast at the hippo pool.

After lunch go for a boat safari on the legendary Nile River, observing hippos, crocodiles, a variety of water birds and other animals like elephants, Kobs and lions that may come to drink water. There after go for a community walk

Day 4

Chimpanzee Trekking and Game Drive

In the morning, set out on your chimpanzee trek in Budongo Forest. The trek enables you to watch the chimps in their natural habitat. During the trek look out for black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkeys, L’hoest monkeys, Olive baboons and the blue monkeys among others.  After the trek, return to your accommodations for lunch.

In the evening go for an evening game drive and look out for whatever animals you may have missed on the boat cruise and in the morning game drive.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, depart for Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda's most remote and spectacular parks. Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside. Check-in at your accommodation. After a short rest, go for an evening game drive in Narus Valley: This sector is known for its lush grasslands and abundant wildlife, including large herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species INCLUDED: All meals, entrance fees, excursions, and 4-5-star accommodations.

Day 6

Safari  and cultural encounter In Kidepo 

KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Wake early and head to Kidepo Valley for a morning game drive. Kidepo Valley, offers stunning scenery with vast savannah plains and rugged mountains. It's renowned for its predator populations, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, making it a prime location for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers seeking to spot these elusive big cats in their natural habitat. After lunch go for a cultural encounter with the Ik community. Engage in activities such as village visits, traditional dances, storytelling sessions, and demonstrations of traditional crafts. These interactions offer valuable insights into the rich cultural heritage of the Ik people.

Day 7

Transfer to Pian Upe game reserve

KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK - PIAN UPE GAME RESERVE

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Pian Upe Game Reserve, a hidden gem nestled in the pristine wilderness of eastern Uganda. Have lunch upon arrival, settle into your accommodations and take some time to relax. In the evening go for a game drive and unwind amidst the tranquility of the reserve. Traverse rugged terrain in search of iconic African wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, ostriches and more.

Day 8

Enjoy nature Walks And community encounters 

PIAN-UPE GAME RESERVE

 

Pian-Upe Game reserve is one of the few places that offers adventurous guided nature walks. Get out of the comfort of your safari vehicle and lace up your hiking boots and embark on guided nature walks through the untamed wilderness of Pian-Upe Game Reserve. 

 

In the afternoon, engage in cultural encounters with the Pokot and Karamojong people who are similar to the Masai of Kenya and Tanzania. They will warmly welcome you into their villages and share insights into their traditional way of life, customs, and rituals.

Day 9

Source of the Nile safari

After breakfast transfer to Jinja and have lunch in Jinja. After a short rest visit the source of the Nile on a boat safari.

Departure
